Country availability, country-level tax fallbacks, state rules, and checkout tax behavior.

Sell-to countries

• Checkout allows orders only from enabled countries.
• Disable countries where you do not want to sell, ship, or handle tax obligations.

Tax rules

• A country-level rule has a country code and a blank state/province field. It works as the fallback for that country.
• A state/province rule uses a state or region code and overrides the country fallback for matching addresses.
• Tax is calculated from the checkout destination and shown in cart, checkout, and order summaries.
